WERA —

lcapLakeshore Community Action Program (Lakeshore CAP), an agency of WISCAP,* recently received another round of Wisconsin Emergency Rental Assistance (WERA) funds. You may apply beginning Monday, February 22nd. The purpose of these funds is to help those who were negatively impacted by COVID-19 and are struggling to pay rent. The Lakeshore CAP program will provide funding to eligible households residing in our service area —  the Wisconsin counties of Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc and Sheboygan.

The following situations will not qualify for this program: Those receiving a Section 8 voucher or assistance through a Public Housing Authority or for mortgage payments.

Along with the rental assistance application, you will simultaneously be applying for Energy Assistance.
