Cradle to Career Program

Do you wonder, “Where do I go to get help with this?”
Or do you think, “I just wish I could talk with someone.”

Lakeshore CAP’s Door County Cradle to Career Coalition (DCCTC) provides comprehensive support and planning for residents who are pregnant and/or have at least one child under the age of 5 at the time of enrollment. Our Program Case Manager will meet with you to help you assess your needs, link you with supportive services in the county and assist you in developing a personalized action plan for your family’s future.

The Case Manager also focuses on linking families with resources and services including:

  • Basic needs
  • Educational attainment
  • Positive parenting
  • Parent and child wellness
  • Career development

DCCTC is comprised of coalition partners throughout Door County who collaborate in response to a need for resources for pregnant and parenting young adults. The ultimate goal is to improve the stability of families by providing access to services, as well as long-term planning for family and career goals. The ultimate aim is to improve overall stability, wellness and self-sufficiency. The intent is to provide seamless supportive services for you from “cradle to career.”
