Cradle to Career Program

Do you ever wonder, “Where do I go to get help with this?”

Do you sometimes think, “I just wish I could talk with someone.”

Or, “I have a lot of stuff going on in my life, but I don’t know how to begin to make it better.”

Lakeshore CAP’s Door County Cradle to Career (DCCTC) Program is the place to start!

The DCCTC Program provides comprehensive support and planning for county residents who are pregnant and/or have at least one child under the age of 5 at the time of enrollment. Our Program Case Manager will meet with you on a regular basis to help you assess your needs, link you with supportive services in the county and assist you in developing a personalized plan for your life and your career. We can help improve stability and self-sufficiency for you and your family.

Services offered by the Case Manager include:

  • Connections to resources that will assist you in meeting basic needs, such as food, shelter, transportation health care, etc.
  • One on one support to help you set and meet personal and family goals
  • Support for education and career planning, such as GED, post high school certificate or degree, or job training
  • Support and education for parenting

Cradle to Career services are provided at the Lakeshore CAP office, 131 S 3rd Ave in Sturgeon Bay.
