QUEST Childcare Program
Are you interested in becoming a licensed childcare provider?
Lakeshore CAP’s QUEST Childcare Program for Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, and Sheboygan County residents will assist you in becoming a licensed child care provider, giving you access to benefits and funding that may not otherwise be open to unlicensed providers. We can provide you with one-on-one support, guidance and resources in your professional journey!
Types of Programs Eligible:

Certified Child Care – A voluntary form of regulation for Family child care providers who are not required to be licensed but wish to care for fewer than 4 children under 7 years of age. Families who receive a child care subsidy may select certified or licensed child care programs.

Family Care (DCF250)- Provides care & supervision for less than 24 hours a day for at least 4 and not more than 8 children who are not related.

Group Care (DCF251)- A child care program that provides care and supervision for less than 24 hours a day for 9 or more children who are not related to the provider.
Program Eligibility:
Eligible participants must live in Manitowoc, Door, Sheboygan, or Kewaunee county.
